Who We Are
Jacqueline’s Bakery & Café was opened in Historic Downtown Melbourne, Florida, in 2016, by Jacqueline and her husband, Christophe, a dynamic American-French duo.
After Jacqueline’s extensive culinary training in Paris, France [where she received the Grand Diploma (Cuisine & Pastry) from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu, Paris, and a state certification in Artisan Bread Baking at the renowned Culinary School, Ferrandi], their dream of opening a French Bakery in the USA was just a few steps away.
Jacqueline’s Bakery and Café serves a variety of breakfast and lunch options as well as delicious and traditional French pastries, baked goods, and ice cream. Come in and enjoy some of their fresh-baked offerings, made daily from scratch, in the authentic French style… making magic out of flour, butter, sugar, and cream.
Authentically French
Chef Jackie spent over 20 years in France absorbing the culture and flavors that make French food special. What makes French food and pastries so spectacular and unique? First, the commitment to starting with great ingredients: for example, Jacqueline’s crème brulee, which is made with real vanilla despite the cost (over $300 per pound). Another hallmark of French cooking is the dedication to excellence. Paris has been the capital of the pastry universe for hundreds of years and has produced some of the greatest culinary innovations throughout history. One of our favorite aspects of French food culture is the warm and welcoming atmosphere around the table. Jacqueline’s Bakery and Café has brought that feeling of sitting at a table in France with friends and family to Melbourne.
