One set of ovens, 6 employees and a whole lot of heart started what would become the monstrosity that Viera Pizza is today. In 2004, Mike Acosta and Naweed Akram shared a vision to bring pizza with flavor and flare to the new and rapidly growing Viera area. Over the last fourteen years, Viera Pizza delivers day-after-day on its promise: No more bland, cardboard tasting, $5 pizzas.
Viera Pizza’s first location was on the corner of Viera Boulevard and Murrell Road, inside the Viera Mobil which we now call “Eastside”. In 2010, VP built a new location on the corner of Stadium Parkway and Viera Boulevard inside the Stadium Mobil. With this came an impressive display case to house the GIANT 24” pizzas we’re known for, along with a full dine-in eating area, and of course, more ovens to make more delicious Viera Pizzas!
DELICIOUS. NEVER TASTED SO DELICIOUS.
Sticking true to our founding fundamentals, Viera Pizza only uses the best of ingredients and that’s where the secret lies — tomatoes for sauce milled in store, fresh shredded blends of cheese, hand-cut and rolled dough. The list goes on and on!
PIZZA IS OUR LIFE BUT WE LOVE TO GIVE BACK.
We firmly believe in giving back to the Community that has made us so successful. Thus, the uber-popular Eat My Crust 5K came to life in 2012. After six successful Eat My Crust 5K events, over $125,000 has been given to the Viera High School Athletic Department, Special Olympics of Brevard County and the Early Steps program through Viera Pizza.
The next step was to launch a nonprofit organization called Power of Pizza Charities or “POP” for short. It’s goal was simple – further the mission of giving back to the Brevard County community. POP is now fully operational with a 501(c)3 status, a board of directors and a full schedule of fundraising events on the calendar.
The beginning 13 years of food, fun, and fundamentals is just that…..the beginning. We continue to maintain our title of
BEST GAS STATION PIZZA EVER!!!
